Career Game International was founded in 2006 to bring the proven job search and career change methods employed by Dr. Larry Linden for many years to a broader audience. Over ten years of research have resulted in a powerful set of tools and processes that will transform how you look at looking for a new position.

Dr. Larry J. Linden

Dr. Linden has over twenty years of independent and corporate experience in international career management coaching. He has worked with leading out-placement organizations as a Division Manager, Senior Consultant, Job Developer and is a Master Trainer of Career Consultants. He has consulted to individual career changers across the United States and in 17 foreign countries including those from Africa, Europe, and the Pacific rim.

Dr. Linden has published articles on career portfolios and effective resume design. He has conducted workshops and courses on portfolio development, career transition, resume writing, answering tough interview questions, networking, job search strategies, and self-marketing for success.

Dr. Linden has provided career management services to individuals, students, small business owners and Fortune 100 companies. He has consulted to companies with outplacement services, candidate analysis, performance and organizational synergy.

Dr. Linden received his Masters Degree in Education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts where he focused his attention on training and development and organizational psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from The Union Institute in Cincinnati Ohio in 1997. Dr. Linden is a Certified Electronic Career Counselor (CECC), and conducts train-the-trainer seminars for other Career Management professionals.

Joseph Parker

Joseph Parker is a professional writer and speaker with over fifteen years of experience in technical and non-fiction writing in a variety of subjects ranging from hardware & software to music. Having worked in many facets of publications in the technical world, he also has years of experience in document design, graphic design, software development, web application development, and software project management.

After working with Dr. Linden in a successful job search of his own, then using variations of the methods to hire highly qualified and motivated people to work for him, he joined Dr. Linden’s quest to bring those methods to the masses. Working together, they published their first book, The Career Game Championships… and how to win, which documents the very process used by hundreds to achieve and successful job search. During this collaboration, Mr. Parker trained with Dr. Linden on these methods, and added his own experience to the mix, as well.

He is active in many cultural and artistic endeavors, having chaired a Massachusetts cultural arts program, and sitting on the board of a non-profit corporation devoted to model railroading. He spent two years as the editor of a national historical society journal.

Mr. Parker received his Bachelor of Science in Technical Writing from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a member of Toastmasters International.
